Are the downloaded Instagram photos compressed or original quality?

PullDL extracts the highest resolution JPEG file directly from Instagram's CDN servers (up to 1080x1350px or 1440px wide). We never recompress or downgrade photo quality.

Do I need to log in to my Instagram account to download photos?

No login or password is required. You only need the public link to the Instagram post or carousel. PullDL respects your privacy and processes requests anonymously.

Does this also extract the caption and hashtags with the photos?

Yes. PullDL includes our Caption Studio for every Instagram photo and carousel post. You can copy the full caption, copy specific hashtags, or export everything to a .txt file alongside your image downloads.
